Contact Lenses

xcontacts eye close up womanWe offer a wide selection of contact lenses including disposable soft contact, bifocal/multifocal, toric, and colored lenses. Whether you wear daily, weekly or monthly disposables, or conventional (vial) lenses, check out our selection of lenses that fit your needs.

A good contact lens fit starts with a thorough eye exam to ensure the most up-to-date prescription and rule out any  pre-existing conditions that could interfere with contact lens wear.

We will determine the best fitting lens based on your lifestyle needs and the shape and health of your eye. In most cases, you'll have the opportunity to try lenses on the same day as your exam. You can even go home with a few samples before making a final decision.

We follow up the initial fitting and then make any necessary changes in fit or materials to get you the best possible fit. We teach all our patients proper contact lens care and also possible consequences if proper care is not taken. Then we continue with long-term follow-up to monitor the condition of the lenses and to ensure that proper hygiene is being maintained.

COVID-19 Update – Announcement from Spectrum Family Eyecare

Hello Spectrum Families;

Our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients, families, staff and community. In this unprecedented time, we are deeply committed to keeping everyone safe.

In light of the evolving pandemic and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close our practice until May 1st. A great deal of care, research and planning guided our decision. We believe that this closure will allow us to more effectively evaluate this dynamic situation and assist in following the guidance on social separation from the Public Health Agency of Canada.

  1. Eye Emergency – I will on call (306) 371-6204 in the event of an eye emergency.
  2. Ordered Product – All product orders will be shipped to you. We ask you see us in May for adjustments or questions.
  3. Scheduled Appointments – Will be rescheduled until our office reopens. Staff will be in touch shortly to help reschedule.

We will continue to evaluate the situation as it evolves and determine on a weekly basis when it is appropriate for us to return to our normal business hours.

Again, please understand that we are making this decision with the health and well-being of our patients, our families, our team and our community in mind.

We wish all of you continued health and strength during this challenging time.
